About this Workshop

Run by local independent crocheter Judith (Joey) Hannah, The Crochet Corner is a relaxed weekly drop-in group for crocheters of all abilities and ages. A space to learn new skills, build on those you already have, or exchange tips and tricks with other crocheters, the group is open to anyone and everyone.

For a small fee, Joey provides all the supplies and resources you’ll need, and tuition to those who wish to improve their skills or learn from scratch. Tuition is provided at your pace with no rushing or time limited help, just the opportunity to switch off and relax while learning a new skill. However, be warned, crochet can be highly addictive!

Joey runs several sessions a week across the Ulverston area and we are very pleased be able to host her growing group in our Stable Bar over the next few weeks.

Places are limited so advanced booking is essential.

To book a space, please email Project Manager, Emma Sumner (emma@grizedale.org) with your chosen date(s) by noon the Monday before.

About the Tutor:

Judith (Joey) Hannah is a working mum of three who taught herself to crochet. Working in the NHS, Joey found crochet to be such a calming and relaxing activity during the pressures of the pandemic, she made the offer over social media to teach others who would like to learn. To her suprise, this offer quickly expanded into The Crochet Corner.
