The event is free for everyone. We will prepare shared food, but encourage you to bring a dish to share, Jacob’s Join style.
There is no need to book, just come along and join from 3pm.
After 5pm, a limited evening menu will be available from The Stable Bar which will remain open until 10pm (8.30pm for food). We will not be taking table reservations on the evening.

After you’ve watched the pageantry and celebration on TV, come and join us for a free Coronation Feast in our fields.
Thanks to support from the Community Fund, we’ll be hosting a celebratory meal in our fields for the community and visitors alike. Brining everyone together to celebrate the new Carolean era as King Charles III and Queen Camilla are crowned.
To get the party going, we’ll prepare lots of shared food, including a very special spit roast Grizedale Forest stag. We encourage everyone attending to bring along a favourite dish to share with other diners – what’s known as a ‘Jacob’s Join’ in these parts.
