All departments at The Farmer’s Arms will be closed for private hire on Saturday 10th June. It’s business as usual on Thursday 8th and Friday 9th June though!

We apologise for any inconvenience to you and we’ll be back open as normal next week.

If you would like to host a private event such as a wedding or birthday party at our unique Lake District pub, then please contact us.

Harvest Roast and apple crumble for only £26? That'll do!

This Harvest Fest it'll be £26 for two courses, featuring the best of Crake Valley’s produce; roast Highland beef from our neighbour Julie Hodgson or hasselback beetroot served with all the proper trimmings and apple crumble for dessert. There'll be sittings at both 1pm & 2pm and booking is advised over on our website!

🌽 Come and enter our Best in Show Clay Veg Competition this weekend at the Beer and Harvest Festival from 10am - 4pm!

🥒 🥕 For both little and big kids, you could stick to the basics with a clay courgette or get ultra ambitious with a clay corn on the cob. Whatever you make, all abilities and ages are welcome and our workshop technicians will be on hand to support.

☀️ Our master of making will judge the various veg and decide the winners at the end of both days.

🍎It's that time of the year when we hire an app

🍎It's that time of the year when we hire an apple scratter and press and welcome everyone to juice your own apples here at the pub!

🍏Whether you'll be making juice, cider or vinegar, we'll be on hand to help show you how to press. You just need to bring your harvest and enough clean containers to take your juice away (we'll have some available for a small fee if you run out).

🥤It only costs 50p per litre to juice and there's no need to book. Juicing times are Wednesday 4th Oct at 10am - 7pm & Thursday 5th Oct at 10am - 5pm.
