Join Ilse Pedler in this supportive and encouraging workshop using the poetry of the past to inspire your own way with words.
Focussing on how and what to write, this poetry writing workshop will use poems and other prompts to encourage participants to produce their own work in an inclusive, but stimulating and encouraging environment. We’ll study the subjects that poets have written about over the years, from love and death to quilts and pineapples, then step off into our own poems about what matters to us!
All abilities are welcome, from absolute beginners to those already familiar with the mechanics of poetry. Students are required to bring anything but we highly recommend bringing your favourite pen and a bunch of enthusiasm!
