The Farmer’s Arms, Lowick Green – LA12 8DT
Join a host of Cumbrian poets at The Farmer’s Arms’ first poetry reading. All abilities are welcome, from absolute beginners to experienced writers, or just come and watch!
Hosted by widely-published, prize winning poet Ilse Pedler, the readings will include some of the best poets in Cumbria such as Kerry Derbishire, reading their work about lives in Cumbria and further afield.
The evening will include a limited number of open mic spots, where participants are welcome to read their own poems or bring a firm favourite to share. Sign up for a spot on the night.
This evening is a part of our Wednesday night ‘Soup Talks’ series during which we host talks and open mics with a captive audience over a bowl of homemade soup! The Stable Bar is open for drinks before and after the talk and those with tickets, get 10% off on the night.
