Thanks to support from Community Fund, this workshop is free and all materials will be provided.
No need to book, drop in between the hours of 10am – 4pm and get involved.
All children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Help us design an elaborate home for The Farmer’s Arms’ incoming brood of Coronation Hens.
An interactive family friendly workshop workshop for all ages, you’ll use clay and other materials to collaboratively design a new poultry enclosure to mark the Coronation of Their Majesties King Charles III & Queen Camilla.
An accessible and fun way of learning about architecture, craft, design and animal husbandry, we’ll also welcome some fancy chickens from farms across the valley for inspiration. Highlighting traditional techniques including dry stone walling, the design will mark King Charles’s support for agriculture, rural communities, arts and education.
The enclosure will them be constructed and finished through a series of interactive workshops by October 2023 when we will welcome our new feathery team members in charge of egg production for our kitchens.
