Enjoy a weekend of celebrating the harvest season with local beer, a produce swap & sell, competitions, live music all day and much more!
Summer 2023 may be a thing of the past but why forfeit the fun when you can bring in the Autumn with a celebration of the bounties of summer!
Our kitchen will be in full swing and the wood fired pizza oven will be burning bright to provide you with some of the most delicious, flavoursome and unique seasonal produce this county has to offer.
Beer Festival
We’ll be joined by local breweries Fell Brewery, Farm Yard, Ulverston Brewing Company and Unsworths Yard. They’ll be pulling pints, selling bottles and cans and on hand to help you find your perfect pint.
Produce Swap & Sell
Bring along your jars of jam, bottles of cider, miscellaneous homemade wines and vegetable patch’s abundant crops to our Produce Swap or Sell and possibly return home with something seldom seen in your kitchen cupboard.
There’ll also be food stalls including Martin Gott’s Wagon of Cheese.
Competitions
We’ll be hosting our clay vegetable making competition for little and big kids, with our Master of Making judging the winners at the end of both days. Maybe you’ll stick to the basics with a clay courgette or get ultra ambitious with a clay corn on the cob. Whatever you attempt, all abilities and ages are welcome and our workshop technicians will be on hand to support.
Pumpkin Patch Harvest
Pick an early pumpkin or squash grown here to organic principles in The Farmer’s Fields by Head of Veg Matt Turnbull.

15:00 — Pickle anything and everything: Bring your own veg along!
Apple Pressing
Bring along your bumper crop of apples and return home with juice galore! We’ll have an apple scratter and a small apple press in operation.
Harvest Roast
Everyone LOVES a Sunday Roast, so gather your loved ones and join us for our two-course Sunday best! View our menu and book your table at the Resdiary booking on our website.
All Day Live Music (Saturday)
12:00 — John Woodward: Enjoy the sounds of the classical guitar as John Woodward plays a varied set of traditional folk songs and his take on more recent pop music hits.
15:00 — Celtic Fiddles: This group of experienced folk musicians fit in so much with the atmospheric Stable Bar, you’d think they were part of the furniture!
18:00 — Reuben Tighe: Ulverston singer-songwriter Reuben Tighe will put his bluesy twist on the classics as he’s accompanied by saxophone solos in his energetic set.
20:00 — DJ Roze Gold: Cumbria and Leeds based DJ Roze Gold‘s sets are driven with a passion for a diverse range of club genres with a rich cultural heritage. Spanning across genres, she plays Dancehall, Kuduro, UK Funky and way way more…
21:30 — Fern Oxley: Join Fern until late as she mixes IDM, Bass Music, Garage, House and Techno, all with an overarching psych style.
