Calling all lovebirds, peacockers, empty-nesters, bird watchers and sitting ducks: The Feast of Saint Valentine takes flight this 14th of February!Ages ago, some French people chose the date for a celebration of love and affection in order to coincide with the climax of birdsong, as lone birds chose their mates. In honour of this tradition, we’re hosting couples and singles for a three course dinner with a birdsong soundtrack, punctuated with artist performances, music and slow dancing.We’ll screen Marcus Coates’s “Dawn Chorus” and Reed Rushes will dial in with mating advice from New York City.
