NEW to our Thursday Night Music line-up, local singer songwriter Reuben Tighe will be embracing the atmosphere in our historic Stable Bar with his folk and blues fingerpicking.

Pick up a pint and treat yourself to one of our delicious freshly-baked wood fired pizza and enjoy Reuben playing the acoustic guitar and singing a selection of 60’s, 70’s, contemporary, blues, folk, rock & roll and original music.

Reuben Tighe is a local musician and former member of folk group King Eider and is a keen fingerpicker of a combination of blues, foot stomping folk and original music, to deliver a delectable delight for your ears.

🌽 Come and enter our Best in Show Clay Veg Competition this weekend at the Beer and Harvest Festival from 10am - 4pm!

🥒 🥕 For both little and big kids, you could stick to the basics with a clay courgette or get ultra ambitious with a clay corn on the cob. Whatever you make, all abilities and ages are welcome and our workshop technicians will be on hand to support.

☀️ Our master of making will judge the various veg and decide the winners at the end of both days.

🍎It's that time of the year when we hire an app

🍎It's that time of the year when we hire an apple scratter and press and welcome everyone to juice your own apples here at the pub!

🍏Whether you'll be making juice, cider or vinegar, we'll be on hand to help show you how to press. You just need to bring your harvest and enough clean containers to take your juice away (we'll have some available for a small fee if you run out).

🥤It only costs 50p per litre to juice and there's no need to book. Juicing times are Wednesday 4th Oct at 10am - 7pm & Thursday 5th Oct at 10am - 5pm.

🍻🍷At this weekend's two-day Beer & Harvest Festival, we'll be joined by the best of the best breweries @ganyambrew @fellbrewery @unsworths_yard_brewery @farmyardbrewco, Ulverston Brewing Co and winemakers @northern_wine.

🍺They'll be pulling pints, selling bottles & cans and on hand to find you your perfect pint.

All this alongside live music & DJ's, craft competitions, a produce swap & sell, clay & fermentation workshops, a Sunday Roast, apple pressing and a pumpkin patch harvest!
