Join us for a series of three evening classes at The Farmer’s Arms in traditional life drawing with natural charcoal made here in the Crake Valley by the tutor.
Open to everyone, no matter your level of skill, over three sessions you’ll learn some essential techniques for drawing the human body including measuring, proportion and shading. All materials will be provided , but you are welcome to bring along any of your preferred materials, easels or drawing boards to support your experience. We will also supply drawing boards and have a limited supply of easels so we recommend bringing your own if you have one.
Sessions will be hosted across 2 weeks on Wednesday and Sunday evenings:
- Wednesday 27th September, 6pm-8pm
- Sunday 2nd October, 6pm-8pm
- Wednesday 5th October, 6pm-8pm
About the tutor:
Ceri is an artist and arts worker from Cambridge. Practising for about 15 years, she’s taught various painting and drawing skills from her home studio and in schools. Primarily interested in nature, life drawing and portraiture she has versatile observational skills and can work with a range of media.
