Join us for a fascinating and richly illustrated talk exploring the history and artistic legacy of the Keswick School of Industrial Art.
Chris will be presenting on behalf of the Keswick Museum, offering a deep dive into one of Britain’s most distinctive Arts and Crafts movements.
This engaging talk will focus on the School’s most creative and influential period, from its founding in 1884 through to the 1950s. Attendees will gain insight into how the Keswick School of Industrial Art emerged from humble beginnings to become internationally recognised for its unique metalwork.
In addition to the talk, Chris will be bringing along selected pieces from his own personal collection- an opportunity to view authentic examples of Keswick School metalwork up close, offering a tangible connection to the artistry and techniques discussed during the presentation.
