Camping in the The Farmer’s Field
If a solid roof over your head isn’t required, we offer The Farmer’s Field, a simple seasonal camping area surrounded by open countryside, wild flowers and hedgerows.
Good, level ground, located in a peaceful spot out of view from our large car park, which we limit to max. 12 pitches at any time so you have plenty of room. A good distance back from any roads, our dog and family friendly camping area is surrounded by beautiful views and yet within a few minutes of our bar, cafe, dining room, community orchard and outdoor pizza oven.
If you have a campervan, we offer up to 2 spaces in a quiet corner of our car park. Please note that the grass pitches are circa 100m on foot from the car park, but we have wheelbarrows to help!
- Pre-booking min. 24hrs before arrival is essential, via email (hello@lakedistrictfarmerarms.com).
- £20 charge per campervan per night in Car park; £20 per pitch per night camping on grass pitch.
- Arrivals 5-10pm. Departures by midday.
- Payment by Card only, at the Bar on arrival (i.e 5pm-1opm).
- Arrivals Thursday – Sunday only. Open May-September.
- Min. 2 night stay.
- Max. 2 guests per pitch. No stag / hen parties.
- Above-ground barbecues / fires only please – bring your own fuel.
- Dogs (max 2 per pitch or van) welcome but please keep them on a lead.
- Please note that we provide toilet facilities inside the Pub for campers to use, but no showers.
