The Farmer’s Arms is thought to be one of the oldest inns in Cumbria, welcoming guests since at least the 16th century. We continue this tradition of hospitality today, offering a range of comfortable accommodation to suit varied group sizes and budgets, including seasonal camping in our beautiful fields.
Our location on the edge of the Lake District National Park makes for a perfect base. We are close to the market town of Ulverston, with its ample amenities from supermarkets to independent greengrocers. Hiking, walking and wild swimming are all close at hand, with the added convenience of good food and a pint when you return.
