Poetry Writing Workshop

A creative writing workshop using poems and other prompts to inspire you to produce your own work in a supportive and encouraging environment. In this workshop we will be building boats of resilience to sail across the troubled waters in which we currently live. How do poets lift our spirits and motivate us to be strong? Come and find out!

No previous experience is necessary, the workshop will cater for beginners as well as more experienced writers. Just bring paper, pen and enthusiasm.

Stay on to the pub’s community lunch after the workshop too – a great value (£7!) and delicious way to end the morning when you’ve worked up an appetite!

Ilse Pedler is a widely published prize-winning poet and workshop leader. She has facilitated workshops for many different organisations and is also poet in residence at Sidmouth Folk Festival. Her workshops are stimulating and inclusive but above all fun.
