Take the pressure off your Easter weekend! A delicious & beautifully presented Easter menu awaits you, crafted from locally-sourced ingredients.
A fabulous four course meal with *vegan options. Wine selections, all the usual real ales and spirits and the famous Farmer’s Arms Bloody Mary all available on the Stable Bar, opening at midday.
Easter Sunday 2026: The Menu
Home-made breads & savoury nibbles & a glass of fizz or seasonal Stable Bar mocktail
A Choice of Starters:
Gratin of scallops in the shell
Prawn cocktail with home-grown peak salad leaves
*The Farmer’s famous Loaded Soup (lentil & vegetables with wild garlic, seeds & croutons)
A Choice of Mains:
Venison Wellington forestiere (Grizedale red deer, mushroom pate, berry sauce)
*Mushroom Wellington
Spelt risotto topped with with hoisin-marinated roast duck
All served with seasonal greens & roasted veg
A Choice of Proper Puddings:
*Rhubarb tarte tartin with home-made dairy or vegan ice cream
Sticky toffee pudding with home-made custard
Westmorland damson and chocolate roulade with chocolate sauce
Tables will be decorated with seasonal flowers & candles.
