Poetry Writing Workshop: Expansion and Contraction
Come and explore how poets write the big and the small, how they ‘see a world in a grain of sand, and heaven in a wild flower’
Using poems and other prompts, participants will be encouraged to produce their own work in a supportive and encouraging environment.
No previous experience is necessary but the workshop will also cater for more experienced
poets or writers. Just bring pen, paper and enthusiasm.
It is also possible to stay on to the pub’s community lunch after the workshop, for an additional cost of £7PP (pay on the day)- great value and delicious way to end the morning!
Ilse Pedler is a widely published prize-winning poet and workshop leader. She has facilitated workshops for many different organisations and is also poet in residence at Sidmouth Folk Festival. Her workshops are stimulating and inclusive but above all fun.
