Come and meet local poets and writers for an informal evening of readings. Bring your own work, a favourite poem to share, or just come and listen.
This month’s reading is a real treat, two award winning published poets will be sharing work from their new collections.
Alice Willitts, poet, plantswoman, eco-activist – winner of the 2018 Magma pamphlet competition and the 2020 Live Canon collection competition will be reading from her new collection Kiss my Earth
Christina Thatcher, widely published author of two previous poetry collections and lecturer in creative writing at Cardiff university, will be reading from her new collection Breaking a Mare.

About the host:
Ilse Pedler is a widely published prize-winning poet and workshop leader. She has facilitated workshops for many different organisations and is also poet in residence at Sidmouth Folk Festival. Her workshops are stimulating and inclusive but above all fun.
