Change of Guest Reader. This month we were due to be joined by guest poet Ina Anderson from Vermont but, due to ill health, Ina is unfortunately unable to make the reading this week. Instead we are delighted to be joined by Kate Davis a poet and storyteller from Barrow. Kate will be reading from her new book FLOW. FLOW is a verse novel about 6 women and what they do to survive, spanning 2,500 years and 2 continents. An extremely ambitious narrative poem of breath-taking scope and empathy – a story that traverses vast spaces of land and time, centred around her Cumbrian home.
About the host:
Ilse Pedler is a widely published prize-winning poet and workshop leader. She has facilitated workshops for many different organisations and is also poet in residence at Sidmouth Folk Festival. Her workshops are stimulating and inclusive but above all fun.
