As part of our Meadow Weekend celebrating National Meadows Day on July 4th, the north west’s scythe guru Steve Tomlin is leading a 2 day course at The Farmer’s Arms, and offers this one hour ‘have a go’ session for absolute beginners! Perhaps you’ve always wanted to try your hand with this ancient implement but never had the chance, or maybe you’d like to learn how to manage your garden in a nature-friendly, off-grid kind of a way?
Our Stable Bar will be open from 5pm for thirsty scythers!
