Poetry Reading and Open Mic

Come and meet local poets and writers for an informal evening of poetry. Bring your own work, a favourite poem to share, or just come and listen. Sign up on the door for the open mic spots. Experienced writers and newcomers’ welcome.

This month’s reader is the brilliant Ann Grant. Born in Barrow, Ann is the co-founder and host of Verbalise at Brewery Arts. She’s also a workshop facilitator and her poems have been included in exhibitions and music collaborations as well as appearing in magazines and on line. Her rarely updated WordPress page is at: https://anngrantwriter.wordpress.com  She has a poetry collection Manifest and is always entertaining, hilarious and above all kind.
