Poetry Reading & Open Mic

Come and meet local poets and writers for an informal evening of poetry. Bring your own work, a favourite poem to share, or just come and listen. Sign up on the door for the open mic spots. Experienced writers and newcomers welcome.

This month two local poets are launching their new pamphlets. Pauline Yarwood is a poet and potter with two previous publications by Wayleave Press and Robert Ford is a writer living by Morecambe Bay. Both are members of Brewery Poets in Kendal. They discovered they were both writing about their fathers and so decided to work together to edit and publish their pamphlets.
